Change settings

• the IGEL Remote Management Suite and the required SQL database SAP DB are installed on BIOPC001 (Windows).
• maintenance of thin clients via IGEL's Remote Management Suite:
  1. login to BIOPC001 as localadmin
  2. start Programs->IGEL Remote Manager->IGEL Remote Manager Konsole
  3. connect via server: BIOPC001 and port: 8443 as user: bioterm
  4. change settings of a single thin client or (preferably) of the user defined profiles
• Hints:
  • keyboard layout can be changed on the thin client directly without the remote manager via the Setup program on Display 1
  • before connecting a thin client to a TFT monitor make sure that the client is assigned to the profile TFT or the screen frequency is set according to the features of the monitor
  • connection to AIX/Linux is currently established using xdmchooser running on a dedicated server.
