Parameters Defaults FPEAKS number / GAUSSIAN LORENTZIAN FWHM(ff) 8 AREA(aa) 0 SIGNIFICANCE(si) 1 PROMPT DELETE NODISPLAY NOSEARCH Purpose Specifies Gaussian or Lorentzian peaks as fit function via automatic search, prompting input or global fit windows.
Maximum number of peaks to be located. If number=* the peaks are defined by the fit windows (see command FWIN) assuming that each window contains one peak.
Specifies Gaussian peaks.
Specifies Lorentzian peaks.
Expected peak full widths at half maximum, in units of the x-axis. The width parameter is needed for the automatic peak search or if only the peak centres are given (command parameter PROMPT).
Lower limit of net peak areas for automatic peak search.
Lower limit of statistical significance. Only peaks with standard deviations exceeding statistical fluctuations by more than a factor si are accepted.
Peak locations (and heights) are given by graphical cursor or, if no cursor is available, by terminal input.
Remove peaks from fit function by cursor. Not yet implemented.
Don't display the located peaks.
Don't locate the peaks, just define the specified number of peaks. Use fit command FPAR to assign start values.
