dtterm/opost Problem

Problem

In some environments, the stty flag opost is set with -opost in dtterm. To check for this problem, enter:

	stty -a | grep opost

If - precedes opost, (as in -opost), the problem exists. Problem symptons are stair-step effects with each new line. For example, when you hit return you will see the next prompt several characters to the right of where the last prompt was displayed.
