Bus Error Coredump When Creating a mksysb at V4.2.0

Problem
A bus error coredump is occurring when the user is attempting to
create a mksysb at AIX Version 4.2.0.0. This problem is described
in defect number 198179.
Solution
Two possible solutions to this problem are listed below.
Create the mksysb with the -p flag. The -p flag
disables the software packing of the files as they are backed up.
Some tape drives use their own packing or compression algorithms.
This flag only applies to AIX Version 4.2 or later.
