Alt Disk Installation Allocates Excess Disk Space in Root

Problem

During an alt_disk_install clone, the / (root) file system space is being inaccurately allocated.

Solution

This is caused by incorrect space calculations as well as an incorrect determination of needed space for the creation of an image.data file.
