Three complete RBE tables are possible in one file: for mean, minimum and maximum RBE values, respectively. The last two are optional. This is for later use to support the estimation of dose uncertainties arising from uncertain RBE assumptions.
Projectiles are given as element names. Note that for the biological dose calculation they must appear also in the dE/dx-table. The usual file name extension is .rbe. An example is here
