Detector file format
!filetype det
!fileversion <yyyymmdd>
!filedate <dow> <mmm> <dd> <hh>:<mm>:<ss> <yyyy>
!detector <det-name>
!shape <shape>

<det-name>
specifies a unique detector name.
At present only one detector per file is allowed.
<shape>
specifies the geometrical shape.
At present only cuboid
is supported.
<position>
specifies the centre coordinates
(in mm) in the CT system.
<size>
specifies the extensions in x-, y-, and z-direction, respectively
(in mm).
<steps>
specifies the number of "micro-voxels" into which a detector
is subdivided
in x-, y-, and z-direction, respectively,
for signal calculation.
<material>
specifies the detector material.
Note that an
efficiency
as well as a
dE/dx table must exist
for this material when the detector signal shall be calculated.
The usual file name extension is ".det"
.
