analyzer()
length(4096)
debug
Purpose
Talk to an MR2000 CAMAC module
Parameters
node
-
Specifies the CAMAC controller's IP name.
Usually this is a CVC running LynxOS and an ESONE server.
station
-
CAMAC station number of the MR2000.
init
-
Initializes an MR2000.
start
-
Starts an MR2000.
stop
-
Stops an MR2000.
clear
-
Clears an MR2000.
read
-
Reads data from an MR2000 into an analyzer.
Default name is
<node>#<station>
,
default event type (qualifier) cmi
(for historical reasons: CAMAC Memory Increment).
analyzer(string)
-
Specifies name and optionally the event type (qualifier)
of the target analyzer. Valid are:
<anlname>.<evtname>
and
<anlname>
length(len)
-
Specifies the maximum number of spectrum channels
to be transferred.
debug
-
Debug switch.
Remarks
The MR2000 is versatile
CAMAC module
capable of storing up to 64k channels
of singles data with very little dead time.
This command allows to operate it in parallel to normal listmode data
taking.
Examples
imr2k cvc35 16 / init
imr2k / read
imr2k / clear
imr2k / analyzer(second.list)
This command sequence initiates an MR2000 module in station 16 of a CAMAC
crate controlled by cvc35
, then reads accumulated spectrum
data into default analyzer cvc35#16.cmi
.
Then the module is cleared and a second measurement is stored in analyzer
second.list
.
