Purpose

Redraw the last one-dimensional display with a new y-scale

Parameters

y1

y2

New y-scale limits. If 'y1' is omitted, it is set to zero. An asterisk (*) means the corresponding actual value.
If 'y1' and 'y2' are omitted, the cursor is activated once to obtain the upper scale limit; the lower one is set to 0. The x-coordinate of the cursor specifies a channel, the y-coordinate the new height of the chosen channel in the new displayed spectrum.

yexp

The cursor is activated twice to get the lower and upper scale limit for the spectrum to be displayed.

save

The specified scale limits are saved, i.e. they update the limits for the display mode fix (See also command DMODE .)

lin

Linear axis.

log

Logarithmic axis.

sqrt

Square root axis.
Not yet implemented.
If neither lin, log, nor sqrt, is specified, the y-axis refers to the global mode; startup default is a linear y-axis.

wrap

If the data of a channel exceed the y-scale, the excess is displayed as in some multichannel analyzer displays:
y = MOD(y,ymax)
Not yet implemented.

nowr

Overflows are not displayed (default):
y = MIN(y,ymax)
Not yet implemented.

upd

The spectrum is updated periodically; the period is 10 seconds unless redefined by the command DMODE.
Not yet implemented.

live

Each event is immediately displayed.
Not yet implemented.

all

The whole spectrum is displayed.

window(w)

Spectrum segment to be displayed, specified by w = An x-limit omitted in the number list is replaced by the actual value; an asterisk (*) means the corresponding analyzer limit.
If all and window are omitted, the last displayed spectrum segment is presented again.

bins(b)

Display bin size. Default is the bin size of the respective analyzer dimension.

debug

Debug switch. Lots of output !

Function

Remarks

See display command DMODE for the definition of global representation modes.

Examples

DSC 1000 1100 / ALL
Display the whole spectrum of the last specified analyzer with the y-scale ranging from 1000 to 1100.
DSC / Y
Display the actual spectrum segment within two y-limits prompted by cursor.
