Purpose

Mark a channel or display point in the current one-dimensional spectrum display and write its contents into the graphic and alphanumerical terminal screen, and into the protocol file.

Parameters

point

May be a display point identifier (one letter) or an x-value. If omitted, the cursor appears to locate a point.

loop

The cursor appears as long as the middle mouse button is pressed.

static

For n-dimensional analyzers with n > 1 only: the access mode requested when evaluating the counts of the display point(s). In the static mode, all n coordinates are taken from the point data structure, and must be set before with the Command DSPOINT. Default: The dynamic mode. In this mode, a display point corresponds to a display point of a one-dimensional spectrum. Its contents is taken from the actual display.

debug

Debug switch. Lots of output !

Function

Remarks

Accessing n-dimensional display points, there are two modes available: For one-dimensional analyzers, there is no difference between the static and the dynamic mode.
If the required point is adressed via channel number, calibrated coordinate, or graphic cursor, the spectrum contents of this point is evaluated in the dynamic mode. The key word static must not be specified in this case.
The contents of a display point is independent of the actual display bin size.

Examples

DPS 100
Mark the channel no 100, or the channel with the calibrated value 100 in the case of a calibrated axis, on the graphic screen. Both, the specifed coordinate value and the spectrum contents of this point in dynamic mode, are displayed on the alphanumerical and on the graphic terminal screen, and written to the protocol file.
DPS C / STATIC
Mark the corresponding coordinate of the n-dimensional static display point C on the graphic screen and return its contents and all coordinates.
