- static
- debug
Purpose
Mark display points in the current one-dimensional
spectrum display and return their contents in the
graphics screen.
Parameters
p1 p2
-
Display point identifiers (single letters). All display
points from
p1
to p2
in alphabetic order are displayed
and evaluated.
If 'p2'
is omitted, only display point 'p1'
is affected.
If 'p1'
and 'p2'
are omitted, the point following in
alphabetic order to the last specified identifier is
displayed.
static
-
For n-dimensional analyzers with
n > 1
only:
the access mode requested when evaluating the counts of the
display point(s).
In the static
mode, all
n coordinates are taken from
the point data structure, and must be set before with
the Command
DSPOINT
.
Default: The dynamic mode. In this mode, a display
point corresponds to a display point of a one-dimensional spectrum. Its contents is taken from the
actual display.
debug
-
Debug switch. Lots of output !
Function
Remarks
The specified display points must have been defined
before by the command DSPOINT
.
In the case of n-dimensional analyzers, this holds at least for the
displayed dimension.
Accessing n-dimensional display points, there are two
modes available:
- In the static mode, a display point is interpreted
as one unique n-dimensional element (bin) of the
analyzer spectrum (static display point). Its
contents is independent of the displayed dimension
and of the projection limits. The coordinates must
be set before for each dimension.
- In the dynamic mode, the contents of a display
point is evaluated by projection onto the given
coordinate of the currently displayed dimension.
Therefore the contents of a dynamic display point
depends on the specific display environment.
For one-dimensional analyzers, there is no difference
between the static and the dynamic mode.
The contents of a display point is independent of the
actual display bin size.
Examples
DGP B J
Mark in the actual picture all display points between B
and J
, which are defined for the actually displayed dimension, and display their contents.
If the current analyzer has more than one dimension,
the contents is evaluated in dynamic mode. Then
projections are performed using the projection limits
of the actual display.
DGP B J /static
Mark all display points between B
and J
, available in
static mode, in the actual picture, and display their
contents. Here no projections are performed, because
only display points are taken into account with coordinates defined for each dimension.
