Purpose

Get data elements (analyzers, calibrations, and/or linearizations) from data element library

Parameters

name

Data element identifier.

qual

Data element qualifier.
Data element identifier and qualifier, respectively, may be given by a name or number. A name may contain wild card characters at any position: '%' specifies one character, '*' a (sub)string of any length. If omitted, uniqueness or reference to the last display is assumed.

run(r)

Run identifier (up to 8 characters). Wild card characters are supported: '%' specifies a single character, '*' a (sub)string of any length.

dump(n)

Dump command number. May be a number or an asterisk (*) indicating all dumps with the given run identifier.

date(d)

Selected period of element creation dates, given by a single date or by 'date1 to date2'. Default for 'date1' is the earliest, for 'date2' the current date. The sequence for each date string is 'day month year'. Day, or both month and day, may be omitted; default is the beginning or end of the specified month or year, respectively.

lib(l)

Library name. Replaceable default: the name used last.

path(p)

Library name path prefix.

analyzer

Only analyzers will be fetched.

calib

Only calibrations will be fetched.

lin

Only linearizations will be fetched.
Only one of the key words ANALYZER, CALIB or LIN, may be specified in the same command, and they are only allowed in data element loops. If none of them is specified, all data elements available are fetched.

spec

Analyzers only: fetch spectrum only.

cond

Analyzers only: fetch conditions only.

disp

Analyzers only: fetch display windows and points only.

alldmi

All analyzer qualifiers (event ids) 'ETn' including 'ET1' are renamed to 'DMI'; if not specified, 'ET1' becomes 'GLIST'.

modify

Modify existing data element(s) - if necessary - without prompting.

nolist

Execution messages are suppressed.

debug

Debug switch. Lots of output !

Function

The specified data element(s) are fetched from the specified library.
If possible. The attributes of an existing data element are modified corresponding to the attributes of the fetched data element.
Parts of the analyzer structure may be selected for fetching: spectrum, conditions, display windows and points.

Remarks

Special analyzer qualifier names are renamed automatically:
               'ETLIST' to 'LIST'
               'ET1', '1' to 'GLIST' or
                                 'DMI', if ALLDMI specified
               'ET2'...'ET9' to 'DMI'

Examples

AFETCH * * / R(*) D(*) DATE(9 8 80) ANAL
All analyzers dumped at August 9, 1980, are fetched from the data element library.
AFETCH PDP301 / RUN(NORM) PATH(XY01) LIB(satan) CALIB
Calibration 'PDP301' of run 'NORM' is fetched from library XY01/satan. The data element qualifier and dump command number are prompted.
AFETCH XE* L%1 / R(ARPB) D(*) DATE(8 81 TO 9 81)
All data elements of run 'ARPB' dumped between August 1st, 1981, and September 30th, 1981, with names beginning with 'XE' and with qualifier names 'Lx1' (x = any valid character), are fetched from the data element library.
