Patch for PC Client install on Windows 95

=================================



This is a patch for the PC Client for NT and 95  installation program. This resolves the

problem where the PC Client setup program would terminate with the error:

"Error - InstallSharedFile[] StrToNum[] failed" when installing on certain Windows 95

machines.





To install the patch: There are two ways to use this patch.

--------------------------

I.  INSTALL FROM WinConnect CD TO LOCAL CLIENT

	1. Create a new directory to hold the client directories and files.

	2. Copy the contents from the WinConnect CD PCclient/NTand95 into a new directory on the PC.  

	3. Copy the patch from the ftp site 95insfix.exe into the newly created directory 		and run the file to extract the contents (SETUP.INS).
	
	4. Run setup (application) to install the thin client.




II. INSTALL CLIENT FROM WINCENTER SERVER TO THE CLIENT 
	(Only if Server Option Pack is installed on the server)


	1. Copy the file 95INSFIX.EXE into a clean directory and run the file to extract		the contents.

	2. Copy the extracted file, SETUP.INS, into the directory containing the PC Client
	files to be installed. This directory is located on the Winframe Server machine 			in C:\ Winframe\system32\WinCen\PCclient\NTand95.

	3. Run setup from a client PC that has a mapped drive to the WinCenter Server.
