Filename: WF160519.EXE For: WinFrame Version 1.6 Replaces: WF160517 Language supported: English (US) NOTE: You must install Service Pack 5 before applying this hotfix. Description ----------- This hotfix for Citrix WinFrame Version 1.6 contains a fix to VWIPXSPX.DLL. This fix corrects the following problems: 1. This hotfix corrects a Btrieve error message that was displayed on the NetWare server that was the target of Btrieve requests. Certain DOS applications running on WinFrame that utilized the Btrieve DOS requestor (BREQUEST.EXE) would cause the NetWare server to display the following message: "BSPXCOM-8: An SPX-level receive I/O error (1) has occurred. The connection has been lost." According to Btrieve developers, this message indicates that BSPXCOM.NLM received a Btrieve request that was not the correct length. This message was generated when WinFrame set a bit erroneously in a DOS SPX packet. This could also cause problems for DOS SPX applications other than Btrieve. 2. This hotfix corrects a problem for DOS Btrieve applications that use the DOS Btrieve Requestor (BREQUEST.EXE). Certain Btrieve functions in these applications would cause very high CPU utilization (75% or more). Installation Instructions for Hotfix WF160519 --------------------------------------------- 1.
